The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience in the cosmetics industry. We are looking for someone with a deep technical knowledge of the science of cosmetics and a creative and curious mindset. The successful candidate will have proven experience in research and development, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and develop product formulations for cosmetics in line with Mary Kay's brand standards
  2. Utilize technical knowledge of chemistry and cosmetic science to create innovative, safe, and effective products
  3. Conduct laboratory and field testing to analyze the performance of products
  4. Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, design, and engineering, to ensure product design and development meets the needs of our customers
  5. Maintain records and documentation of product development processes
  6. Stay up to date with changes in the cosmetic industry and new regulations
  7. Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the research and development team
