Lead Counsel - Data, Digital & Marketing
Provide strategic, regulatory and transactional legal support to the data science, data and AI governance, digital, technology, and marketing groups. Assist data science team by analyzing legal risks associated with machine learning- and AI-powered predictive models and business solutions. Provide legal advice to support MassMutual’s record retention and information governance programs. Provide regulatory advice and transactional support related to domestic and international commercialization of MassMutual’s internally-developed data science solutions. Represent MassMutual in trade association groups related to digital innovations and use of big data, algorithmic underwriting and risk classification, and collaborate with government relations team to support a proactive regulator outreach strategy.
6+ years in a top law firm and/or corporate environment
In depth understanding and experience acquired from working on initiatives and transactions
Ability to identify issues, exercise sound judgment, and provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment
