As the Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as promoting efficient and effective record-keeping practices.   1. Develop and implement records management policies and procedures in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee the organization and maintenance of all company records, both physical and electronic.
  3. Ensure that all records are properly labeled, stored, and archived for easy retrieval and accessibility.
  4. Establish and maintain record retention schedules to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  5. Train and educate employees on proper record-keeping practices and procedures.
  6. Conduct regular audits of records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and security.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize record-keeping needs and requirements.
  8. Monitor industry trends and best practices in records management and implement improvements as needed.
  9. Manage relationships with third-party vendors for off-site storage and digital archiving solutions.
  10. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to respond to any legal or regulatory inquiries related to records management.
  11. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect company records in case of emergencies or disasters.
  12. Lead and mentor a team of records management professionals to ensure a high level of operational excellence.
  13. Serve as the main point of contact for all records management related matters and provide guidance and support to all departments within the company.
  14. Maintain and report on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the records management program.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs related to records management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Records Management, Information Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Records Management, Preferably In A Large Organization Or Financial Institution.

  • Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices For Records Management, Including Information Governance, Data Privacy, And Compliance Regulations.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Implementing Records Management Programs, Including Digital And Physical Record-Keeping Systems.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
