Job Description

At Mastercard, we are looking for a Reliability Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to help us build a secure and reliable digital payment system. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong technical background and the ability to think outside the box to ensure that our systems are up and running at all times. The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for proactively monitoring and maintaining our systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical solutions to ensure our systems meet our high standards for reliability.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in system reliability engineering. In addition, the successful candidate should have a deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and storage technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are also essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain Mastercard’s systems to ensure reliability
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide technical solutions
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve system reliability
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system architecture, networking, and storage technologies
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve system issues
  • Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and execute tests to ensure system reliability
  • Provide technical support to end users
  • Develop and maintain system operations policies and procedures
