- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to Mastercard's financial systems and processes.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and protocols to mitigate identified risks.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify patterns and trends that may pose risks to Mastercard's operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in risk management, and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate risk assessment findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct training and provide guidance to employees on risk management protocols and procedures.
- Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach or other risk event.
- Participate in audits and regulatory compliance assessments related to risk management.
- Continuously assess and improve Mastercard's risk management program, incorporating new technologies and strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security and reliability of Mastercard's systems and processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
