Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join the prestigious Mayo Clinic team. This position will be based at our Rochester, Minnesota campus and will provide an excellent experience to practice with a world-renowned team of healthcare providers. The successful candidate will be a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized experience in spine surgeries. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care with a focus on patient outcomes and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Orthopedic Spine Surgeon will be expected to provide leadership and direction to a team of healthcare professionals and work collaboratively with other physicians and members of the multidisciplinary team. In addition, the successful candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and research.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of healthcare professionals • Perform spine surgeries in accordance with established protocols and best practices • Provide excellent patient care with an emphasis on patient outcomes • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals and members of the multidisciplinary team • Provide teaching and mentorship to healthcare professionals in the field of orthopedic spine surgery • Participate in research activities related to orthopedic spine surgery • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in orthopedic spine surgery • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in all interactions
