- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT scans on patients using advanced technology and techniques.
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or changes in condition during and after scans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols and provide accurate and timely results.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Adhere to strict patient confidentiality and maintain accurate and complete records.
- Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in CT technology and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Participate in quality control and assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging results.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote patient safety and efficient workflow.
- Act as a mentor for new technologists and assist in training and orienting new staff.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Adhere to all institutional policies, procedures, and regulations, including radiation safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure timely and efficient patient care and support the overall functioning of the department.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Ct Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Computed Tomography.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And With Patients Of All Ages.
