  1. Develop personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical history, dietary needs, and health goals.
  2. Conduct nutrition assessments and provide education to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and the importance of proper nutrition.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  4. Stay up-to-date on current research and trends in nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations to patients.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient consultations and progress.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients and staff, answering questions and providing guidance on nutrition-related topics.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and state regulatory agencies.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes through quality improvement initiatives.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  12. Comply with all Mayo Clinic policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and patient privacy.
  13. Attend continuing education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of nutrition.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Mayo Clinic in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutritional Science, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credentials From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including The Ability To Assess And Develop Individualized Nutrition Plans For Patients With Various Medical Conditions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team And Educate Patients On Nutrition And Lifestyle Changes.
