- Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks in patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas throughout the facility.
- Ensure all surfaces, equipment, and supplies are properly sanitized and stocked.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to patient and staff requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Attend mandatory trainings and meetings to stay updated on safety and cleaning protocols.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Follow established safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and using caution when handling potentially hazardous materials.
- Take initiative to identify and address potential safety hazards in the facility.
