- Conduct complex laboratory tests: The Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests, including blood typing, crossmatching, and antibody identification, to support patient care.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of results: The MT/MLT will be responsible for following established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results. They will also be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during testing.
- Monitor quality control: The MT/MLT will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting any quality control issues that may arise.
- Maintain laboratory equipment: The MT/MLT will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Document and report results: The MT/MLT will be responsible for accurately documenting and reporting test results in a timely manner. They will also be expected to maintain detailed records of all tests performed.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As A Medical Technologist (Mt) Or Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Recognized Certifying Agency (E.g. Ascp, Amt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With A Focus On Blood Bank Testing.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures, Equipment, And Quality Control Measures.
Ability To Work Independently As Well As In A Team Environment, With Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
