Advanced Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Practitioner - Transplant Surgery At Mayo Clinic Must Have A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Degree With A Specialization In Transplant Surgery. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Work In A Highly Specialized Role.
State Licensure And Certification: All Nurse Practitioners At Mayo Clinic Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Employment. They Must Also Possess Certification As An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) With A Specialty In Transplant Surgery.
Clinical Experience In Transplant Surgery: Mayo Clinic Requires Nurse Practitioners In The Transplant Surgery Department To Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Transplant Surgery.
