  1. Schedule appointments for patients in a timely and efficient manner, taking into consideration their specific needs and preferences.
  2. Prioritize and manage a large number of appointments, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated scheduling process.
  5. Utilize electronic medical records and scheduling systems to accurately document and track patient appointments.
  6. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary information is relayed accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Continuously strive to improve the patient experience by identifying and implementing process improvements.
  9. Stay current with all policies, procedures, and protocols related to patient scheduling and appointment management.
  10. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow within the department.
  11. Serve as a positive representative of Mayo Clinic, promoting the organization's values and mission to provide the best medical care to patients.
  12. Maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor at all times, treating patients with respect and compassion.
  13. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge related to patient scheduling and customer service.
  14. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or department leadership.
