In addition, the successful candidate will manage medication inventories, collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy staff.The ideal candidate will have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, be licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Minnesota, and demonstrate a working knowledge of dermatologic medications and treatments. Previous experience working in a clinic setting and/or specialty pharmacy, a commitment to patient safety and quality of care, and excellent communication and organizational skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in the Dermatology Department, including assessing drug therapies, developing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and healthcare providers.
2. Manage medication inventories and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
3. Provide leadership and mentorship to pharmacy staff.
4. Ensure patient safety and quality of care.
5. Maintain current knowledge of dermatologic medications and treatments.
6. Develop and implement clinical strategies for the optimization of medications.
7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans, as needed.
8. Track and report medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
9. Maintain accurate records of patient care.
10. Participate in continuing education and training activities.
