  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacy Technician II I/P will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to patients according to physician orders and following all safety protocols.
  2. Patient Consultations: This role will involve providing patient consultations on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  3. Inventory Management: The Pharmacy Technician II I/P will be responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels, ordering medications as needed, and ensuring proper storage and handling of medications.

  6. Quality Assurance: This role will involve conducting regular quality assurance checks to ensure all medications are dispensed accurately and in accordance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Certification Or Equivalent State Certification As A Pharmacy Technician.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Setting Is Required.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals: The Candidate Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Drug Names, Dosage Forms, Strengths, And Packaging Requirements.

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency In Using Pharmacy-Related Computer Systems Such As Medication Dispensing Systems And Electronic Health Record Systems Is Essential.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are Required To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Pharmacy Staff.
