
Physician Assistant - Breast/Melanoma
Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced Physician Assistant - Breast/Melanoma to join our exceptional team. Our ideal candidate will have a background in medical and surgical oncology, and be committed to providing the highest quality care to patients and their families. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in an oncology setting, with a preference for those with experience in the breast or melanoma field. The ideal candidate will be a team player, focused on delivering compassionate and comprehensive care to all patients.The Physician Assistant - Breast/Melanoma position requires a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), and a valid state license. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to excellence and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in the breast/melanoma field.
- Perform medical and surgical procedures in an oncology setting.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest quality of care to patients and their families.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient documentation.
- Keep up-to-date with relevant medical advances and guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on proper health care and disease prevention.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
