- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability program for Mayo Clinic, including setting goals and targets, identifying key initiatives, and creating a roadmap for implementation.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and prioritize sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully execute sustainability initiatives and projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and organizations to support sustainability efforts and initiatives.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainability to continuously improve and enhance the program.
- Monitor and report on the progress and impact of sustainability initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through sustainable practices.
- Develop and deliver sustainability training and education programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to sustainability.
- Serve as a sustainability subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other departments and teams as needed.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Project/Program Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Sustainability Principles, Environmental Regulations, And Green Building Practices.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Sustainability Initiatives, Including Tracking And Reporting On Progress And Outcomes.
