Social Worker - Clinical

We are looking for a driven and compassionate Social Worker - Clinical to join the team at Mayo Clinic! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering clinical social work services to patients, families, and caregivers within the healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications and a passion for working with a diverse group of individuals.To be successful you will need a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college/university, current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota, and three to five years of experience in a clinical social work setting. You will also need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as an understanding of social work theory and practice, including the ability to utilize evidence-based interventions. The ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team and to foster a positive, collaborative environment is essential. Finally, you must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to Mayo Clinic’s Core Values.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide clinical social work services to patients, families, and caregivers within the healthcare setting.
2. Utilize evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of the patients.
3. Maintain licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Minnesota.
4. Foster a positive, collaborative environment within the multidisciplinary team.
