- Provide support to the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of emergency medical services.
- Assist with the daily operations and flow of the Emergency Department.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates Must Possess A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For A Unit Technician Position In The Emergency Department At Mayo Clinic.
Previous Healthcare Or Emergency Services Experience: A Strong Background In Healthcare Or Emergency Services Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates With Experience In A Hospital Setting Or As An Emt, Paramedic, Or Nursing Assistant Will Be Highly Considered.
Cpr Certification: Unit Technicians In The Emergency Department Must Be Certified In Cpr. This Certification Should Be Current And Obtained Through An Accredited Organization.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For A Unit Technician In The Emergency Department. Candidates Should Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
