Cloud Security Engineer

Align with the Cloud DevOps team ensuring best practices are adopted and enforced within the CICD pipeline. Develop automation to enforce adherence to various cloud standards. Codify standards as much as possible. Work with other security teams to define, enforce, detect, and respond to common threat vectors such as misconfigurations, ransomware, and OWASP and OS vulnerabilities. Engage with the Cloud Ops team to ensure operational hygiene is in place (OS/Application patching and vulnerability remediation, adoption of latest images, etc.) Engage with the Cloud Architecture team to ensure secure architecture baselines are created and maintained against new threats and risks. Monitor and review cloud vulnerability and compliance scan results, and determine best strategy to drive remediation Detect and respond to threats in the cloud environment (intrusion detection, anomoly based alerts, vulnerabilities, etc) using Cloud native tools and services.
