  1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees and labor unions to promote a fair and respectful work environment.
  2. Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential legal risks.
  3. Handle employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to develop and implement labor policies and procedures.
  5. Conduct regular trainings and workshops for managers and employees on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  6. Monitor and analyze labor data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity.
  7. Serve as a mediator between employees and management in labor-related matters.
  8. Represent the company in collective bargaining negotiations and other labor-related meetings.
  9. Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including compensation, leaves of absence, and other labor-related programs.
  10. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as labor organizations and government agencies.
  11. Regularly communicate with employees and management to address any labor-related concerns and ensure alignment with company values and goals.
  12. Conduct investigations into labor-related incidents and recommend appropriate actions in line with company policies and procedures.
  13. Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve labor relations strategies and initiatives.
  14. Uphold a positive company culture and promote employee engagement through various initiatives and programs.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to labor relations across the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations: A Manager - Labor Relations At Mcdonald's Corporation Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Laws Related To Labor Relations. This Includes Laws Governing Wages, Working Conditions, Union Organizing, And Collective Bargaining.

  • Negotiation And Bargaining Expertise: As Mcdonald's Corporation Has A Unionized Workforce In Some Locations, The Manager - Labor Relations Must Have Experience In Negotiating And Bargaining With Unions On Behalf Of The Company. This Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Collective Bargaining Agreements And The Ability To Advocate For The Company's Interests While Maintaining A Positive Relationship With The Union.
