Job Description

As the Senior Director of Employee Relations Strategy at McDonald's Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the employee experience at one of the world's most beloved and iconic brands.   1. Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with McDonald's Corporation's overall business objectives and values.
  2. Lead and manage a team of employee relations professionals to ensure a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  3. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and proactively incorporate them into company policies and procedures.
  4. Provide guidance and support to HR teams and managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and employee relations investigations.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential employee relations issues and develop solutions.
  6. Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  7. Develop and implement training programs for managers and employees to promote a positive workplace culture and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Act as a liaison between the company and external labor organizations, representing the company's interests and maintaining positive relationships.
  9. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with employee relations policies and laws.
  10. Monitor and respond to employee feedback, addressing concerns and implementing changes as needed to improve the employee experience.
  11. Stay informed of best practices and industry standards in employee relations and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  12. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee relations matters.
  13. Collaborate with the diversity and inclusion team to develop and implement initiatives that promote a diverse and equitable workplace.
  14. Foster a culture of open communication and transparency, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment for all employees.
  15. Handle escalated employee relations issues and provide guidance to management on appropriate resolutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Employee Relations: A Senior Director, Employee Relations Strategy At Mcdonald's Corporation Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Employee Relations, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Employee Relations Issues.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Employment Laws And Regulations, With The Ability To Apply This Knowledge To Develop And Implement Effective Employee Relations Strategies.
