Job Description

  1. Develop and maintain expertise in EDI standards and protocols, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  2. Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, test, and maintain EDI processes and systems.
  4. Monitor and report on EDI performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on EDI within the organization, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity and inclusivity within the workplace.
  7. Participate in diversity and inclusivity initiatives and events.
  8. Conduct training and education sessions for employees on EDI and diversity and inclusivity topics.
  9. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to EDI and diversity and inclusivity.
  10. Act as a liaison between McKesson Corporation and external partners/vendors for EDI processes.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential issues or risks related to EDI and diversity and inclusivity.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to promote the importance of EDI and diversity and inclusivity.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve EDI processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop and implement diversity and inclusivity policies and initiatives.
  15. Serve as a role model for diversity and inclusivity within the organization, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Edi Systems And Protocols.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry And Edi Standards Such As Ansi X12 And Hl7.

  • Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Java, And Xml.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And In A Team Environment.
