- Perform physical tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials and equipment within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of products.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals.
- Meet productivity and efficiency standards set by the company.
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with inventory or equipment to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and management.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve processes and increase efficiency within the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Warehouse Operations: This Role Requires Prior Experience Working In A Warehouse Environment, Preferably In A Material Handling Or Inventory Management Position. Knowledge Of Warehouse Procedures, Equipment, And Safety Protocols Is Essential.
Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Warehouse Material Handler Involves Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Heavy And Bulky Items On A Regular Basis. Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Forklift And Pallet Jack Experience: Mckesson Corporation Warehouses Use Forklifts And Pallet Jacks To Move And Transport Materials. Candidates Must Have Experience Operating These Types Of Equipment And Possess A Valid Forklift Operator's License.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial In This Role As Material Handlers Are Responsible For Verifying And Recording Incoming And Outgoing Shipments, Ensuring Correct Quantities And Items Are Received, And Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records.
Team Player: Material Handlers Work As Part Of A Team And Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Collaborate With Other Team Members To Meet Production And Shipping Targets. Flexibility And A Willingness To Work Overtime Or Different Shifts As Needed Is Also Important.
