- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies in relation to vendor management.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and due diligence on potential and existing vendors.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and analyze potential risks associated with vendor relationships and develop proactive mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure vendor risk management practices align with overall risk management strategy.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to vendor risk management.
- Communicate risk management findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of vendors and their associated risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and serve as a point of contact for risk-related inquiries.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for employees on vendor risk management.
- Stay informed of any changes in vendor relationships and assess potential impacts on overall risk management strategy.
- Continuously review and improve vendor risk management processes and procedures.
- Prepare reports and presentations on vendor risk management for senior management and clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management across the organization.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in relation to vendor risk management.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Vendor Risk Management Or Related Field.
Strong Understanding Of Risk Assessment And Mitigation Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Vendors And Internal Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Standards Related To Vendor Risk Management, Such As Gdpr Or Iso 27001.
