Job Description

This position is an integral member of the Health Department Total Quality Team. The position will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining health-department wide compliance. Incumbent will be responsible for the ongoing enhancement, implementation and monitoring of a continuous system for meeting and maintaining accreditation-required policies, standards and benchmarks. Plans health education programs based on needs of target population. Oversee and assures quality and accuracy of health promotion programs and services. Oversee implementation of health communication, marketing, public and outreach strategies. Assist with identifying funding opportunities and developing funding proposals.

Job Qualifications

Three years of public health, healthcare and/or regulatory experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a County Operator’s Permit.
Nursing experience is a plus.
Prior public health experience preferred
