  1. Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial and operational regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and implement remediation plans.
  3. Lead and manage a team of internal control professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure their success.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain effective internal controls throughout the organization.
  5. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to internal controls and make necessary adjustments to internal control policies and procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on internal controls, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  9. Conduct investigations into suspected fraud or non-compliance and take appropriate actions to address any issues.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve internal control processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
  11. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and the board of directors on the state of internal controls within the organization.
  12. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a culture of compliance and integrity throughout the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Internal Controls, Auditing, Or Risk Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Sox Compliance, Coso Framework, And Other Relevant Regulatory Requirements.

  • Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Internal Control Programs In A Large Organization.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Cross-Functionally And Influence Decision Making At All Levels Of The Organization.
