  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all Medline products and their associated regulatory requirements.
  2. Oversee the entire product recall process, from detection to resolution, ensuring timely and effective actions are taken.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to quickly address any product issues and implement corrective actions.
  4. Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses for product issues, keeping detailed records and documentation.
  5. Communicate with regulatory agencies and customers regarding product recalls and any necessary follow-up actions.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure their adherence to quality standards and timely response to any product issues.
  7. Monitor and analyze product data and feedback to proactively identify potential product issues and address them before they become widespread.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to product safety and recalls.
  9. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for product recalls, including communication plans and escalation protocols.
  10. Train and educate colleagues on proper product recall procedures and best practices for ensuring product safety and customer satisfaction.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve the product recall process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information related to product recalls.
  13. Represent Medline in a professional manner in all interactions with regulatory agencies, customers, and suppliers.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments related to product recalls and safety to ensure Medline's processes and procedures are in line with best practices.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product improvement initiatives to prevent future product issues and recalls.
