- Conduct thorough research and analysis of products to ensure accurate classification according to global trade regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and documentation for accurate classification.
- Stay updated on changes in global trade regulations and communicate any potential impact to the company.
- Maintain and update classification databases and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Review current processes and procedures and make recommendations for improvements to enhance trade compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on classification related inquiries and issues.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on trade compliance and classification processes.

- Build and maintain relationships with relevant government agencies and industry associations to stay informed on trade compliance trends and best practices.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to government agencies for import/export clearance.
- Communicate with international suppliers and customers to collect necessary product information and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Participate in trade compliance audits and assist in the resolution of any identified issues.
- Act as a subject matter expert on global trade compliance classification for the company and provide guidance and support to other team members.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all classification related activities.
Extensive Knowledge Of Global Trade Compliance Regulations And Requirements: The Senior Global Trade Compliance Classification Analyst Should Have A Deep Understanding Of International Trade Regulations, Including But Not Limited To Import/Export Laws, Customs Regulations, And Free Trade Agreements.
Experience In Product Classification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Classifying Products According To The Harmonized Tariff Schedule (Hts) And Schedule B Codes. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The General Rules Of Interpretation (Gris) And Other Classification Principles.
Strong Analytical Skills: As A Senior Global Trade Compliance Classification Analyst, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Review And Analyze Complex Data Sets, Identify Discrepancies, And Make Recommendations For Corrective Actions.
Attention To Detail: The Job Requires A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail To Ensure Compliance With Trade Regulations. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Potential Compliance Issues.
Experience With Trade Compliance Software: Proficiency In Trade Compliance Software, Such As Sap Global Trade Services (Gts) Or Descartes Customs Info, Is Essential For This Role.
