Job Description

Acts on behalf of Compensation Director in his/her absence. Exercises independent judgment and takes actions that may set precedents. As subject matter expert provides guidance to compensation team members, human resources and management staff on complex compensation issues. Assists in training, orienting, and developing department staff. Supports the development and administration of compensation programs and policies designed to attract, motivate, reward and retain the most qualified employees. Evaluates jobs across various business units for assigned region; collects and analyzes market data and investigates internal equity to make appropriate compensation recommendations to HR business partners and management. Leads projects as assigned. Identifies opportunities for and implements process improvement. Makes recommendations for major changes in compensation programs.

Job Qualifications
  • PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or CCP certification preferred.

  • 4 years compensation analyst experience, preferably in a health care environment

  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws governing wage and salary administration

  • Familiarity with Success Factors performance management system preferred.
