  1. Provide high-quality and efficient care to patients in the emergency department.
  2. Possess strong clinical acumen and the ability to make critical decisions quickly and accurately.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  5. Keep up-to-date on current medical practices, techniques, and technologies related to emergency medicine.
  6. Conduct thorough patient assessments and document all findings accurately and timely.
  7. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  8. Monitor and evaluate patient response to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  10. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
  11. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  12. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families during times of crisis.
  13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  15. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  16. Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  17. Provide support and guidance to less experienced Physician Assistants and other healthcare team members.
  18. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and making a positive impact in the lives of others.
  19. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Certification As A Physician Assistant By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Medicine Setting.

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
