Responsibilities: 1.Provide direct patient care according to the individualized patient plan of care. 2.Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with approved protocols. 3.Monitor vital signs, initiate vital sign trends, and report unusual or unexpected changes to the healthcare team. 4.Conduct patient assessments, document patient care, and accurately report information to the healthcare team. 5.Assist with the implementation of the plan of care including patient education. 6.Maintain a safe and clean environment for the patient. 7.Maintain current licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. 8.Comply with facility policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. 9.Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives. 10.Assist with other duties as assigned.
