Job Description

We at MedStar Health are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Burn Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate nurse to work with our team of dedicated healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland. They will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high quality patient care in accordance with MedStar Health's standards.
  2. Implement evidence-based practices to ensure safe, effective patient care.
  3. Utilize the latest technology and equipment for care delivery.
  4. Follow patient care protocols and procedures.
  5. Assess and monitor patients' conditions and document findings in patient medical records.
  6. Educate patients and family members about care plans and treatment.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  8. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare trends and best practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
