Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to pediatric patients undergoing transplant procedures.
- Utilize specialized knowledge and skills to provide complex care to pediatric transplant patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' condition, including vital signs, lab results, and overall well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about the transplant process, post-operative care, and potential complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address any changes in patients' condition.
- Advocate for patients' needs and ensure their rights are respected.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in pediatric transplant care.

- Maintain professional standards of practice and act as a role model for other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nursing, With At Least 1 Year In Transplant Care.
Certification In Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) And Basic Life Support (Bls).
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Families.
