Job Description

The Clinical Research Specialist role at Medtronic is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals looking to make a meaningful impact in the medical device industry. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Research Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing clinical trial protocols, preparing materials and documents for regulatory submission, and building and maintaining relationships with clinical investigators. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring that all clinical research activities adhere to applicable regulatory requirements and Medtronic's Quality System.The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field, and have at least two years of experience in clinical research. They should have a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and a strong background in study design and data analysis. Additionally, the candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical and research staff.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and execute clinical trial protocols in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and Medtronic's Quality System.
  2. Prepare materials and documents for regulatory submission.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with clinical investigators.
  4. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
  5. Develop and implement study design and data analysis plans.
  6. Monitor and report on progress of clinical research activities.
  7. Analyze and interpret data from clinical research activities.
  8. Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues related to clinical research activities.
  9. Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant clinical research regulations and standards.
