Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Specialist to join our leading-edge team at Medtronic. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of our research efforts in our mission to improve the lives of patients around the world. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in research and study design, as well as a commitment to excellence and accuracy. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have the ability to think creatively and analytically. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field• At least 3 years of experience in clinical research/study design• Knowledge of medical terminology, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement clinical research projects

• Develop clinical protocols and documents

• Analyze and interpret clinical data

• Collaborate with other research staff on projects

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical guidelines

• Prepare reports and presentations based on research findings

• Monitor progress of clinical trials

• Maintain accurate records of research activities

• Train and supervise research staff

• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and other organizations

• Develop and manage budgets

• Work with external vendors to coordinate research activities
