Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Computational Modeling Engineer At Medtronic Is Expected To Have A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles And Techniques, Which Is Typically Achieved Through An Advanced Degree Such As A Master's Or Phd.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software: As A Computational Modeling Engineer, One Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Cad Software And Its Application In Medical Device Design And Development. Proficiency In Programs Such As Solidworks, Autocad, And Ansys Is Highly Desirable.

  • Experience In Computational Modeling And Simulation: Medtronic's Computational Modeling Engineers Must Have Experience In Utilizing Computational Modeling And Simulation Techniques To Solve Complex Engineering Problems. This Includes Proficiency In Finite Element Analysis (Fea) And Computational Fluid Dynamics (Cfd).

  • Knowledge Of Biomedical Engineering: A Strong Understanding Of Biomedical Engineering Principles Is Essential For A Computational Modeling Engineer At Medtronic. This Includes Knowledge Of Human Anatomy, Physiology, And Biomaterials, As Well As An Understanding Of Medical Device Regulations And Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Medtronic's Computational Modeling Engineers Must Possess Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Evaluate And Troubleshoot Complex Design And Engineering Issues.
