Electrical/Mechanical Technician

Perform job functions under minimum supervision in laboratory, production area, clean room, and test environments. May provide training to lower-level technicians. May require travel to off-site locations up to 25 miles. May require travel outside of Minnesota up to 10% of time. Document maintenance actions in an equipment tracking database in compliance with regulatory requirements. Create and modify maintenance procedures by determining preventive maintenance, safety, and lockout/tagout requirements from manufacturer’s manuals, laboratory methods, or process requirements. Troubleshoot and repair maintenance equipment to the assembly/component level. Perform preventive maintenance inspection, lube, and filter procedures on time to a schedule. Provide direction or training to contingent workers or lower-level technicians. Assist in project planning and budgeting.
