  1. Design and develop embedded software solutions for medical devices that improve the treatment and management of chronic diseases.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  3. Lead the development of software architecture and design specifications for new products.
  4. Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Implement and maintain software development processes to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of products.
  6. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for their integration into product development.
  7. Mentor and guide junior software engineers to improve their technical skills and understanding of software design principles.
  8. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and propose solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
  9. Participate in risk management activities and ensure software designs are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress and potential roadblocks.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate their software components into Medtronic products.
  13. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
  14. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations related to software development and medical devices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Embedded Software Development, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And/Or Java.

  • Strong Understanding Of Real-Time Operating Systems And Software Development Processes.

  • Experience With Software Design Patterns And Architecture Principles, Such As Object-Oriented Design And Modularization.
