- Develop and improve manufacturing processes: Design and implement efficient and effective manufacturing processes for Medtronic's life-saving products.
- Ensure product quality: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that all products meet or exceed Medtronic's rigorous quality standards.
- Drive innovation: Research and implement new technologies and methods to continuously improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
- Project management: Lead and manage projects related to process improvement, cost reduction, and new product introduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product development, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.
- Analyze data and provide recommendations: Utilize data analysis techniques to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Adhere to regulatory standards: Ensure that all processes and products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuous improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Support production: Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
- Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including process specifications, reports, and project plans.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes and equipment adhere to safety standards and company policies.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Engineering, Preferably In Mechanical Or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, Such As Cnc Machining, Injection Molding, And Assembly.
Experience With Process Validation, Quality Systems, And Regulatory Requirements, Such As Fda And Iso.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Process Improvements.
