- Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for medical devices that meet customer and industry standards
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design concepts
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure product safety and effectiveness
- Develop detailed design specifications and perform engineering analysis to support design decisions
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create and modify designs
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design concepts
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet quality standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations to continuously improve design processes and products
- Communicate and present design concepts, progress, and results to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in project planning and budgeting activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Mechanical Design And Development Within The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Industry Standards For Medical Device Design.
Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Leadership Skills.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cad Software And Experience With Prototyping And Testing.
