Job Description

Are you an experienced and innovative Senior Product Engineer looking for the chance to make a difference in the world? Medtronic is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and help us build the future of healthcare.As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of advanced medical device products and services. Your mission will be to identify, design, and develop products that meet our customers’ needs. You will use your expertise in engineering and design to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and meet our safety, regulatory, and design requirements.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the medical device or related industry, and a proven track record of successfully developing medical device products. You must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable making decisions and working in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of advanced medical device products and services.
  2. Identify, design, and develop products that meet customer needs.
  3. Ensure that products are of the highest quality and meet safety, regulatory, and design requirements.
  4. Utilize engineering and design expertise to develop medical device products.
  5. Solve complex problems and communicate effectively with team members.
  6. Work independently and make decisions in a team environment.
  7. Manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
  8. Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  9. Maintain a high level of quality assurance throughout the product development process.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth product launches.
