  1. Develop technical documentation, user manuals, and instructional materials for Medtronic's medical devices.
  2. Ensure accuracy and clarity of all written materials, adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical information and ensure consistency across all materials.
  4. Review and edit existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  5. Conduct research and gather data to support the development of technical content.

  11. Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines for deliverables.
  12. Mentor and train junior technical writers as needed.
  13. Collaborate with translation teams to ensure documentation is accurately translated for global markets.
  14. Continuously improve and streamline the technical writing process.
  15. Represent Medtronic in a professional and knowledgeable manner when interacting with external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Technical Writing, English, Communications, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Technical Writing, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Regulatory Requirements For Medical Device Documentation

  • Proficiency In Technical Writing Software, Such As Adobe Framemaker Or Madcap Flare

  • Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Meet Tight Deadlines.
