Job Description

As a UNiD Lab Engineer at Medtronic, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced Cranial & Spinal Technologies. You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure the highest level of quality and innovation.The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science, along with 3-5 years of experience in medical device engineering. You should have experience in the development and testing of medical devices, as well as a strong understanding of design controls, risk management, and medical device regulations. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.If you have a passion for medical device engineering and a commitment to developing innovative solutions, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain advanced Cranial & Spinal Technologies.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure quality and innovation.
  3. Ensure adherence to design controls, risk management, and medical device regulations.
  4. Develop and test medical devices.
  5. Work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  6. Possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  7. Participate in research and development activities.
  8. Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation.
  9. Assist in the development of product prototypes.
  10. Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
