
Bioinformatics Software Engineer
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and innovative Bioinformatics Software Engineer to join our team. As a Bioinformatics Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software to support bioinformatics research, as well as creating and integrating databases and software to enhance the workflow of bioinformatics research. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experts in the field of cancer research and collaborate on diverse projects.The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about developing software and has a keen interest in working with bioinformatics data. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong technical knowledge of software engineering and bioinformatics.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least two years of experience working with bioinformatics software and databases.
