Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is looking for an experienced and passionate Development Coordinator, Leadership Annual Giving to join our team! We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to our mission to lead the world to conquer cancer. As our Development Coordinator, Leadership Annual Giving, you will play a critical role in helping our organization reach our ambitious philanthropic goals. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and adept at building relationships with a variety of stakeholders. They should demonstrate strong communication skills and have the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once. We seek someone with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two years of relevant experience in development or fundraising. A solid understanding of fundraising principles and best practices is also a must. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to increase annual giving from leadership-level donors.
  2. Create and manage a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects.
  3. Cultivate relationships with donors through personal visits, telephone calls, and other activities.
  4. Develop and implement strategies for donor recognition and stewardship.
  5. Track and analyze data on individual donors and giving trends.
  6. Coordinate and attend fundraising events.
  7. Prepare and analyze reports on donor activity and giving trends.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that donor requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  9. Assist in developing and producing fundraising materials and collateral.
  10. Participate in planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns.
