- Develop and oversee educational programs for residents and fellows in accordance with institutional and accrediting body standards.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure high-quality and innovative educational experiences for trainees.
- Maintain and monitor compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Identify and implement strategies for continuous improvement and advancement of the GME program.
- Recruit, train, and mentor program coordinators and other GME staff.
- Manage budget and resources to support GME initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison between GME program and other departments within the institution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance GME opportunities for trainees.
- Evaluate and assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in national and international medical education conferences and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and equity within the GME program.
- Ensure resident and fellow wellness and provide support and resources as needed.
- Collaborate with institutional leadership to develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for GME.
- Stay informed on current trends and advancements in medical education and incorporate them into the GME program.
- Represent the GME program in institutional meetings and committees.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism and ethical conduct in medical education.
Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Graduate Medical Education Leadership, Preferably In A Complex Academic Medical Center Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Acgme Accreditation Standards And Experience With Program Development, Evaluation, And Improvement.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Mentoring A Team Of Gme Staff And Faculty.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Represent The Institution At National And Regional Gme Conferences And Meetings.
