Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an exceptional, experienced professional to join our team as Director, Radiation Therapy. This individual will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Radiation Therapy department in line with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of clinical excellence in radiation therapy and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to join a world-renowned cancer center and help shape the future of radiation therapy. The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for advancing the Radiation Therapy department’s goals and objectives.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient care and radiation safety.
  3. Establish performance metrics and ensure that the department is meeting organizational goals and objectives.
  4. Develop and manage departmental budgets and ensure that resources are utilized efficiently.
  5. Provide mentorship and guidance for staff to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
  6. Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to ensure that excellence is maintained.
  7. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the Radiation Therapy department is providing the highest level of patient care.
  8. Participate in research and education initiatives that will advance the field of radiation therapy.
  9. Represent the Radiation Therapy department in external meetings and conferences.
  10. Maintain current knowledge of new developments and technologies in radiation therapy.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy

  • Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiation Therapy

  • + Years Of Clinical Experience In Radiation Therapy

  • Knowledge And Experience In Radiation Safety

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Imaging And Treatment Equipment

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Therapy Techniques

  • Experience In Patient Care

  • And Ability To Work Effectively With
