EKG Technician

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and compassionate EKG Technician to join our team! We are dedicated to providing the best care for our patients, and our EKG Technicians play an important role in helping us achieve this goal. The successful candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing excellent care.To be considered for this position, applicants must possess at least an associate degree in cardiopulmonary technology or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience in performing EKG and Holter Monitor tests is also required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail, are essential. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform EKG and Holter Monitor tests in a timely and accurate manner
2. Provide excellent care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort
3. Maintain accurate records and reports of tests and results
4. Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and pulmonary disorders
5. Educate patients on the importance of preventive care
6. Communicate effectively with physicians and other medical staff
7. Maintain and troubleshoot EKG equipment
8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures
