Exercise Physiologist

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our world-renowned team of professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in the pursuit of improving quality of life and health outcomes. The Exercise Physiologist will be responsible for developing personalized exercise programs, providing clinical education on exercise and lifestyle modification, and helping to promote physical fitness for our cancer patients. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in an exercise physiology setting. A National Board Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or a similar credential is also required. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience working with a variety of medical conditions, an understanding of cancer and its treatment, and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. Experience in program development and delivery, as well as customer service, will be essential. The Exercise Physiologist will be an advocate for physical activity and the role it plays in the overall health and well-being of our patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is passionate about the work of MSK and helping our patients reach their highest potential.

Responsibilities:

7. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on current exercise physiology guidelines and research.
9. Maintain National Board Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or a similar credential.
