- Provide high quality, compassionate care to patients with endocrine disorders at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
- Serve as a member of the Endocrinology Service and collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in the field of endocrinology and apply it to patient care
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' medical histories, symptoms, and test results to establish accurate diagnoses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies as needed
- Prescribe and monitor medication regimens for patients, adjusting as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care measures
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and conferences to discuss patient cases and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records for all patients
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects related to endocrinology
- Mentor and supervise medical residents and fellows as necessary
- Contribute to the academic and scholarly activities of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, including publications, presentations, and teaching opportunities.
Medical Degree: A Faculty - Physician, Endocrinology Service At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Endocrinology By The American Board Of Internal Medicine Or The American Board Of Osteopathic Medicine.
Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Endocrinology, With A Focus On Cancer-Related Endocrine Disorders.
Research Experience: Memorial Sloan Kettering Is A Renowned Research Institution, So Candidates Should Have A Track Record Of Research Experience In The Field Of Endocrinology, Including Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Faculty - Physician, Endocrinology Service, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Work Collaboratively With Other Physicians, Researchers, And Staff. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
